On 18.03.2021, the KEEN PhD students invited Dr. Dadhe from Evonik to a virtual fireside chat about career and leadership management.
After a brief introduction, Dr. Dadhe gave an overview of his professional career. Like some of the KEEN PhD students, he also did his PhD at the Chair of Process Dynamics and Operations at TU Dortmund University. Now, he is Vice President of Digital Process Technologies at Evonik since more than 4 years. In KEEN, Evonik participates as an end user and data provider and thus provides some use cases for the development of AI-applications. The presentation by Dr. Dadhe resulted in many questions regarding career development and personal growth. The PhD students gained an intensive insight into industry work and were inspired by the speaker's drive. In the future, further topics, such as time and self-management, will be discussed among the KEEN PhD students.
